An oil & gas drilling project in Russia’s Volga-Ural region is showcasing the performance of Field Diamond’s PDC cutters. The customer initially encountered challenges drilling through abrasive formations that caused premature wear with previous cutters. After switching to a 146.0 mm bit equipped with both the P series (premium) and E series (standard) cutters from Field Diamond, the operation made significant progress. The bit has successfully drilled 1,900 meters and remains in continuous operation, demonstrating a clear improvement in tool life and drilling efficiency.
