From Abrasive Formations to PDC Bit Refurbishment: Field Diamond Receives Global Recognition

Field Diamond’s PDC cutters and services have earned unanimous praise from customers in Canada, Europe, and Indonesia, covering applications such as surface drilling, geothermal operations, and PDC cutter refurbishment.

In Canada, a client shared, “Today I learned that your 1913 leached cutters are outperforming several competitors in surface drilling—maintaining excellent condition from 0 to 600 meters with virtually no wear or damage.” This highlights Field Diamond’s outstanding wear resistance and cutting stability under demanding drilling conditions.

In Europe, a geothermal drilling team used a 127 mm, 5-wing matrix-body PDC bit to drill 1,324 meters of cement inside casing. The bit remained in good condition throughout the run. The customer noted, “We’ve drilled 1,324 meters of cement inside casing with the 127 mm matrix PDC bit (5 wings), and it’s still performing well. We’re now planning to order the steel body too, as we’ve found the steel quality to be very reliable.”
