Les formations intercal\u00e9es contenant des nodules de chert ou de pyrite n\u00e9cessitent des structures \u00e0 gros grains pour r\u00e9sister aux pics d'impact soudains sans subir de fracturation catastrophique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Stabilit\u00e9 thermique<\/strong><br>Les temp\u00e9ratures de fonctionnement sont d\u00e9terminantes pour la dur\u00e9e de vie. Les fabricants pr\u00e9sentent souvent des valeurs de r\u00e9sistance aux chocs \u00e9lev\u00e9es, obtenues \u00e0 partir d'essais de choc par impact. Ces essais ne tiennent pas compte des vibrations lat\u00e9rales \u00e0 haute fr\u00e9quence rencontr\u00e9es lors d'un forage horizontal r\u00e9el.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les contraintes r\u00e9siduelles se concentrent directement au niveau de l'interface plane entre le diamant et le substrat en carbure. Lorsque des vibrations lat\u00e9rales viennent frapper cette ligne de contrainte, un micro-\u00e9caillage se produit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les ing\u00e9nieurs \u00e9vitent ce pi\u00e8ge en sp\u00e9cifiant des interfaces non planes. Les conceptions de substrats radiaux, rainur\u00e9s ou stri\u00e9s augmentent la surface physique de contact entre les deux mat\u00e9riaux. La g\u00e9om\u00e9trie irr\u00e9guli\u00e8re permet de diffuser les ondes de contrainte lat\u00e9rales. Une lixiviation excessive affaiblit la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l\u2019impact de l\u2019ar\u00eate. Une lixiviation insuffisante laisse le cobalt expos\u00e9 aux zones de chaleur. Nous avons suivi les cycles d'utilisation des tr\u00e9pans dans le bassin du Delaware, en ciblant la formation de Wolfcamp, connue pour ses intercalations de couches dures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La foreuse A \u00e9tait \u00e9quip\u00e9e de tranchants plans standard non lessiv\u00e9s.
